Treasurer’s Report: concession numbers are up from last year. Will have final bash tallies at our May meeting.

Membership Report: (Anna & Ron) - 3 new members in February. Will send out membership list to spring reps soon. Discussion on membership costs for next year - we will be keeping the price the same as this past year - $40 for regular.

Secretary Report: (Lauri) - Please sign the attendance sheet before you leave. It is very helpful if you can email in your report before each meeting. There will be blank report forms available for anyone who needs one at every meeting. Minutes will be posted on our website once approved. Please note meeting next month is May 9th not May 2nd.

Spartanwear: (Tiffany) - Flyer will be going out to all 8th grade graduates in the district from the GBN office for Spartanwear. Question on Book sale - will we have the same space? Mr Catalano said we should, still waiting on dates of book sale, there will be a quick turn around - they will need the cafeteria the day after book sale so will need to clear out the last day. We will not be doing an end of year sale - in a good place with inventory, not much excess.

Yard Signs: nothing new to report. waiting on weather.

Concessions: (Jamie) - all fine - please remember to let me know if you run out of anything. We will be hosting water polo invite 4/23 - please send me email with exact dates and your needs. can do muffins and fruit if you want since in the am. Also water is turned on in the outside concession areas. Baseball finally has its own costco access card, so can stock accordingly. There is a work order in for the pool concession area - locks for cabinets.

Thoughts/ideas for next year - some of the teams have been using sign up genius for concession and party sign up, Maybe we can have PTGMS create a sign up like they do for hot lunch in district 27. Jamie already has access so can go on and see where short, set the dates and then system sends reminders. Also - Would like to have a meeting with all the team reps at the beginning of each season to explain and discuss concession protocol.

Spring Sports:

Girls Badminton:

Varsity: 2 wins, 5 losses

JV:  2 and 3

freshman: 2 and 2

Boys Baseball

Varsity: 9 wins, 2 losses.

Lost to St. Rita (ranked 6th in country) in extra innings 4-5, Beat Stevenson 3 -2 (in an exciting game rematch from playoff loss - Michael O. pitched a complete game, struck out 15 and Jordan K. hit solo home run in the 6th to give us the lead.) Team had a great Spring Training trip to Cocoa Beach. They faced teams from Ohio, Connecticut, Florida and Kentucky. Varsity went 4 and 1. Boys bonded well and played a lot of baseball. Due to inclement weather the Glenbrook North invite was canceled. Luckily they played 6 games before the “spring training” trip - which has not happened in recent years. Have collected from all parents all levels, however a few gave towards coaches but did not wish to donate the $5 to booster. As of today we have 4 boys committed to play baseball in college.
